Over the past month I’ve picked up the habit of starting my day with an inspirational work and then before dinner reading something work-releated. Here’s some takeaways I’ve gotten from those reading sessions.

How to Stop Worrying and Start Living

This is the book I start my day with. Life can be overwhelming at times for anyone and I feel that this book puts things into perspective for me. I’m always a bit more relaxed after reading this. It’s also a great resource for inspiration for UX mindsets that I can apply at work.

The book has a great four step technique to analyze and solve worry problems.

  1. Writing down precisely what I am worrying about.

  2. Writing down what I can do about it.

  3. Deciding what to do.

  4. Starting immediately to carry out that decision
